PROOF That COLD Season STILL Hasn’t Left Us… Even in Summer

Can you believe it? Cold season is STILL hanging on to many of us in the month of June. (Even in Florida!) I had a girl come up to me today (I was in my local Natural Health Food store) and ask if they had any type of “Smoothie” she could get that will help colds. (yes, she actually thought a “smoothie” might help her cold symptoms.)

A smoothie is a “cold” drink with frozen fruit and a liquid (usually juice or milk) blended together and it’s very tasty. It IS a cold drink, it’s just not usually a drink requested for colds.

It shows me that when you feel terrible, “your brain shuts down” and you’re desperate for any kind of relief from the misery of a cold.

Maybe you had a cold this year and maybe you were fortunate enough to have “dodged the bullet.” What can be done to get over the symptoms quicker???? Do all the right things…

I’m going to go back to the best advise (next to all the “standard things most of us already know about) I can give you if you have a cold. Two little strange words… many people have never heard before… “Neti Pot.” If more people would learn about this simple little tool, they’d be as happy as I am.

Ever since I learned about the Neti Pot, this little gem of a tool.. I have never had a “sinus infection,” suffered with the bad allergy symptoms I use to suffer with or had to rely on drugs for relief of sinus pressure. The most I’ve had to do (ONLY because I’m a big baby with pain) is take some aspirin when my sinuses bothered me. Caused by changes in weather mostly.

But hey, if you want to keep suffering, taking drugs, be ignorant, or keep the doctors for their kids college education… IGNORE THIS BLOG ARTICLE!
